  • after reboot exit it from tray icon

Easy-Hide-IP is a very easy to use software solution that changes your IP to a new one, and thus allows you to remain anonymous while browsing the web, as well as bypass a bunch of restrictions.

Similar to a proxy tool, Easy-Hide-IP provides a comprehensive list of IPs (sorted by signal strength), thus enabling you to select the one that works the best with your Internet connection.

The interface is quite pleasant and user friendly, but in case you get yourself into trouble when using it, it's always recommended to have a look at the help file.

The application enables you to view the IPs only from a specific country, but also to change the settings automatically at a user defined interval and thus make sure that you remain anonymous all the time. It's enough to press the ‘Connect’ button and the new configuration comes into place.

Other than that, there are just two options, start Easy-Hide-IP with Windows and hide identity when Easy-Hide-IP starts, so it's pretty easy to take advantage of the app's great features.

What Easy-Hide-IP actually does is set up your computer to work with a proxy server, so loading websites in Internet Explorer may take more time than with your standard settings. You only have to hit the “Disconnect” button to restore the default configuration. The app also comes with a dedicated add-on to make it work with Firefox, but this needs to be installed separately.

Of course, Easy-Hide-IP runs on low computer resources, but keep in mind that Internet speed may be more or less affected after applying the new settings.

But all in all, it's an effective and easy to use tool, with a pleasant interface and a comprehensive help manual.

REAVER   PRO

Reaver is a WPA attack tool developed by Tactical Network Solutions that exploits a protocol design flaw in WiFi Protected Setup (WPS). This vulnerability exposes a side-channel attack against Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) versions 1 and 2 allowing the extraction of the Pre-Shared Key (PSK) used to secure the network. With a well-chosen PSK, the WPA and WPA2 security protocols are assumed to be secure by a majority of the 802.11 security community.

WPS allows users to enter an 8 digit PIN to connect to a secured network without having to enter a passphrase. When a user supplies the correct PIN the access point essentially gives the user the WPA/WPA2 PSK that is needed to connect to the network. Reaver will determine an access point's PIN and then extract the PSK and give it to the attacker.

Current attacks against WPA networks involve the computation of rainbow tables based on a dictionary of potential keys and the name (SSID) of the network being attacked. Rainbow tables must be re-generated for each network encountered and are only successful if the PSK is a dictionary word. However, Reaver is not restricted by the limitations of traditional dictionary-based attacks. Reaver is able to extract the WPA PSK from the access point within 4 - 10 hours and roughly 95% of modern consumer-grade access points ship with WPS enabled by default.

Alternatively, you can limit access to only the websites that you specify. In that case, your kids will only be able to access these sites, and all others will be off-limits. In the current version, parents can also limit their kids’ stay on certain sites to a specified time, so that eventually they will have to put their online games away and get back to their homework.
